Fun Weekend

We had a great memorial day weekend. First our new friends Sarah and Preston came over on Friday for dinner and game night. We were so excited to find another couple that liked to play Settlers. I loved that Sarah won the game (which means Keith did not). We had such a great time that we setup a standing game night with them each month. On Saturday night Grams and Poppa came to visit. They drove over from college station and spent Saturday and Sunday night with us. Brooke was so excited to have Grams and Poppa sleeping at her house. We had a great time with them at church, trying a new burger place, having ice cream and playing outside. While they were here our neighbor across the street had a bee invasion around their front door. We got to see an actual bee keeper come and remove (via shop vac) all the thousands of bees that took up rest in entryway. It was cool and a little bit creepy. Keith and I cleaned up the office on Monday and put up a new bookshelf. I am thrilled to have it finally organized!! Monday night we took the girls to our neighborhood pool. I love the beach entry and the water buckets that dump in the shallow part. We tried out Annabelle's new floaty. She enjoyed relaxing in the shade. Brooke used her floaties for the first time. She jumps right into the deep end with no hesitation.
