Goodbye to Nanny Val

We had to say goodbye to Nanny Val this week. She was preparing to move to Chicago and Annabelle was starting preschool. It was very sad for everyone. We have grown quite attached to her. I know we will keep in touch. She is a very special friend to us.

Brooke Starts Soccer

Brooke joined her first team sport in January at the YMCA. She was so excited to play indoor soccer on the bumblebees team. Keep in mind that everyone on the team is 3; so they are mostly just learning how to chase the ball and not use their hands. Brooke did pretty well in her first 2 weeks. She scored several goals and enjoyed running with her team. Brooke also celebrated the 100th day of school with a fun dress up day. They asked the kids to dress like a 100-year old. I thought Brooke was so cute as a little old lady.

New Christmas Dresses

The girls got matching dresses and tights from Grammy for Christmas. We tried to take a few pictures before church on Sunday. Grammy was helping a former student from Arizona with her flat Stanley project. Flat STanley made a few of these pictures and then Grammy took him all over Cedar Park.
