Gingerbread House

I wanted Brooke to "make" her own Gingerbread house this year. So, I bought a kit at the store, ha! I helped her with the gluing party only and let her put all the decorations on. It was fun to see her creativity at work. I did have to keep her from eating a lot of the candy. Maybe next year I'll actually make the gingerbread for house.

Christmas Party

We had a great time at our neighbor's Christmas party. It was so nice to visit with adults and then walk right across the street and put the kids to bed. Our baby monitor worked at their house; so we didn't have to get a babysitter. Brooke's school had a Christmas movie in your PJ's night, so she missed the party. Annabelle looked super cute in her French Baby dress and hat. Our neighbors did a white elephant gift exchange at the party. One of the guests brought a jar of moonshine for a gift. It turned out to be one of the most popular items. The winner of the moonshine shared with everyone. It was actually pretty tasty. We are glad to have such nice neighbors on our street. We had tons of fun getting to know more people on the street.
