Annabelle's 18 month check-up
I took Annabelle for her 18 month check up on the day after Halloween. She weighed in at 24 pounds 10 oz and 33 1/2 inches tall. That puts her in the 55% for weight and the 90% for height. She is a happy happy girl. Everything checked out great at the doctor and she didn't even need shots.
Annabelle loves to watch movies. This is usually her first word in the morning and she says is all day, "MOOOvie." She is running and climbing everywhere. She wants to be just like big sister Brooke. She cannot reach the table to color in the normal chair so she stands up and leans against the table. This has results in multiple falls and a couple cheek bruises. The bumps haven't slowed her down a bit.
She is getting more verbal each day. She says yes ma'm, Happy Birthday, no thank you, phone, cup, truck, bike, swing, grammy, crayon, marker, paper, write, bye guys, alright, blanket, and teeth.
She is still very adventurous with food, but insists on doing it all by herself. She has almost mastered eating yogurt without making a huge mess.
She is still very cuddly and loves to read books. She loves playing in the nursery at church. She doesn't cry at all when I drop her off.
She does not like to share at all. She will scream her head off if Brooke takes a toy from her. She also pinches when she doesn't get her way. We are working on these things.
She is wearing 24 month and 2T clothes and a size 5 diaper. She just moved up to a 5 1/2 or size 6 shoe. She is very into accessories. She wants to have her bow, necklace and purse on each day.
We love our sweet Annabelle!
