Easter in Dallas
We drove up to Dallas to celebrate Easter with Keith's family. Brooke and Annabelle looked darling in their dresses from Grams. We drove in on Saturday morning and made it to Sunnyvale by lunchtime. The girls had fun playing and then took great naps. For dinner, we went to our friend's, the Brown's house in Rockwall. We hadn't seen them since residency in Pittsburgh. They now have 4 children! When we first met them in Pittsburgh, they only had 2. We had never met their little baby boy and they had never met Annabelle. The kids loved playing outside together on the trampoline. I'm glad they are living back in Dallas.
After dinner we headed back to Keith's parents to watch the end of the March Madness games.
Our Easter Sunday started off with pouring down rain. Luckily it tapered off by church time. The girls looked so cute in their Easter Dresses. We were able to get everyone together for a few family pictures. After church we headed out to Aunt Susan's house for a big McSpadden get together. They had a huge spread of food, a bounce house for the kids, and an egg hunt. We really enjoyed the day.
We stayed Sunday night and avoided all the I35 traffic. It is nice that Keith and I can be a little bit flexible with our schedules. Happy Easter!
