Traveling to Auburn

Keith and I took our first trip alone without kids last weekend. We flew to Georgia to visit our friends Nick and Lauren. They are both working as podiatrists in Columbus, Georgia. This is very convenient because Nick is a HUGE Auburn fan, and Auburn is just 40 minutes away. They are able to drive in for every home game and tailgate all day. When A&M announced they were moving to the SEC; Keith and Nick planned on getting together for the Auburn vs. A&M game. We had a great weekend at their place and loved visiting the Auburn campus. It was an awesome game for us; not so much for Nick. A&M was winning by so much that most of their fans left at halftime. Even though it was a blowout, we still enjoyed our kid-free night. Hopefully Nick and Lauren will come to Aggieland next year.
