Brooke's 2nd Birthday Party

We had a wonderful 2nd birthday party for Brooke at our house one week before the move. It was a little bit crazy with so much of our stuff packed, but we enjoyed getting to spend more time with the families here. It also gave us an excuse to try this hoagie place that our neighbors have always raved about. People in Pittsburgh are very particular about their sub sandwiches. We invited all the resident families and our neighbors across the street to the party. People were so sweet to bring gifts for Brooke. She is just starting to understand the concept of presents. She also loved having people sing Happy Birthday to Brooke and blow out the candles. It was a great weather day for kids to be outside. Brooke and Jacob were covered in bubbles. We had to keep them from drinking the bubbles out of the dunking tray. They also ha
d a blast running through the sprinklers. I made a point to take pictures of the giant "2" balloon and our sold sign in the front yard. We were so fortunate to sell our house in just 2 weeks after listing it with a realtor. Thanks for a great 2nd Birthday party for Brooke. I am going to put the little Brooke Memories you all wrote in her baby book. Happy Birthday to our sweet Brooke. You are so special to us! We love your energy, your friendliness to everyone and your great appetite (you will try anything, even dog food). We are continually impressed with your knowledge, entertained with your dancing, and shocked by the way you are fearless with playing/exploring. Right now you weigh 25 lbs and wear a size 2T and 5 shoe. You are starting to get a little bit more hair, but not much. Your favorite songs are wheels on the bus, twinkle twinkle, and ABCs. You love everything associated with Elmo, bubbles and playing outside. You love school and playing with friends. It seems like you are going to be left handed. You like to be the helper. You are very curious. You are able to "break in" to any cabinet (even child-locked ones), open any door, and climb up pretty high. You love going on Chick-fil-a dates with daddy and reading with mommy. We love you Brooke Marie! Can't wait to see what adventures are in store for you this year.
