Moving Day - Grammy comes to Texas

Keith flew to Arizona on June 27th. He drove the Penske truck with my mom from Arizona to Cedar Park. It took almost 20 hours and about 2 days for them to get here. We unloaded all of her things on Saturday the 29th. It has only been a few weeks, but she has managed to turn her house into a fully decorated home. We are so glad to have her right down the road!

Father's Day

Keith enjoyed a great Father's day this year. He got to sleep in; which is a rare occurrence. Then he opened presents from his girls. Brooke was very excited to help. I tried to get a picture of them after church but Annabelle wasn't having it! He hammed it up and tried to make it funny. Happy Father's day Keith!

Trip to Dallas

I went to Dallas for a conference with Encompass during the week of Brooke's birthday. I was so excited to see my good friend Val. She is in the middle of planning her wedding. Her fiance Brad came to the end of our dinner. I really enjoy hanging out with them. They are a great couple. We look forward to many fun times with them!

Cute Girls

Brooke loves to help pick vegetables from the garden with her dad. Here she is posing with a zuchinni. Brooke loves her new birthday outfit from Aunt Shevawn. Annabelle enjoys her new booster seat and all the good food. I am amazed at how messy she can get with her food. It is typically in her hair and all over her face. Annabelle also loves her shades.

School Art and Early Preschool Assessment

Brooke transitioned to a new class at her Primrose school in June. They did a final assessment for her as an early Pre-schooler. Here is her assessment and some of her artwork. Her new class has a smaller teacher to student ratio. They start spanish, computers, and math. All the students have to be potty trained. I'm glad they still make the kids take naps. They also started summer splash days every wednesday. They let the kids play in the outside water area and have a snow cone. She loves it!

Brooke's third Birthday June 11

Brooke's actual birthday was on Tuesday June 11th. It just so happened that I had to be in Dallas for a work conference from Tuesday - Thursday. So, I woke up early on Tuesday and made her pink birthday pancakes. We put little pink candles in them and sand Happy Birthday one last time. We also let her open her birthday presents. She had a great time. I think her favorite gift was the kareoke machine that plugs into the TV. She had a blast seeing herself singing on TV.

Brooke's Birthday party with our church small group

Brooke was so excited to share her Angry Birds Birthday cake with our church small group. We had our weekly meeting outside at the playground. It was definitely HOT, but we all had a great time.
