Trip to Costco
We took a Saturday morning trip to Costco to buy more chairs for Grams and Poppa for the beach. Brooke loves to get a smoothie at Costco.
Brooke's May Art and Annabelle on the move
Church Retreat
We had a great time at our church retreat last weekend. The church rents a camp near temple for the retreat. We enjoyed getting to know new people and spend time outside. Brooke loved playing teatherball, swimming in the lake, and even catching a fish. She won a prize for catching the biggest fish on Saturday.
We look forward to developing many relationships with out church crew.
Annabelle's Birthday Car
We got Annabelle a car for inside/outside. It has a long handle so we can push her. Brooke loves to push her or have us push her and play chase.
Keith loves the new beach chairs I got for our trip to Galveston.
I took a picture of Keith with the HUGE onion that came out of his garden.
Brooke is enjoying all the yummy garden food and some local sweet corn.
Annabelle's first birthday
On Annabelle's birthday, I took the girls to a wildflower filed on the side of the highway near our house. I love the pictures that we took! It was hard to keep Annabelle's hat on, but we captured a few seconds with it on.
We picked out a smash cake for her at the grocery store. She loved smashing the cake and making a mess; but didn't want to eat very much of the cake. I did have to give her a special bath after the cake.
For dinner she got to try shrimp and scallops for the first time. Keith did a great job on the scallops and Annabelle gobbled them up. We are planning to celebrate her birthday again when we are with Keith's family in Galveston.
Annebelle had her 1 year checkup and here are her stats. She weighs 18 pounds and 15 ounces. She is 30.5 inches tall. She is in the 90th percentile for height and the 20th percentile for weight. She is in a size 4 diaper, has 8 teeth, and has started drinking whole milk. She is pulling up but not walking yet. She says mama, dada, papa, puppy, ni-night, bye bye, amen, thank you, book, bubba (bottle), and hi. She is the sweetest baby! We are so blessed that she is a part of our family.
