Brooke's School Work

Brooke's little pre-school sends home lots of crafts that Brooke "made". I am not going to keep all these little treasures, so I will take a picture and scan them. She had a couple paper cut outs of animals that she painted with pudding. I didn't even think about it when I put them on the fridge. It didn't take more than a couple hours for our dog Jackson to sniff out that craft and lick off all the pudding, ha! Here is a sample of her July art.

Keith's 28th Birthday

This was the first year in Pittsburgh that Keith was not on-call for his birthday. We had a very relaxing day celebrating. He did have to go into the hospital and round in the morning but he was back by 10. We opened all his presents and of course Brooke wanted to help. Later that afternoon we went to Oakmont Bakery so he could pick out a couple sweet treats. Keith had never been to Oakmont before. He was definitely impressed. We took our treats and headed to Chili's for dinner. I told Keith we could go anywhere he wanted for dinner and he picked Chili's. We had a great dinner. Brooke loved being out with a bunch of people. After dinner we went back home and ate our Oakmont treats. They were all delicious. We put Brooke to bed and watched a movie in the basement. It was a very relaxing day. Hopefully Keith enjoyed his last birthday in Pittsburgh. Happy Birthday Keith!!

Fun in the tub and thanks for the new toys

Keith took a few pictures of Brooke in the tub. She loves to play with bubbles, drink the water and throw her toys around. I would like to say she is very gentle and loving with her babies and toys but that is not the case. She is usually slamming, throwing, or hitting her toys.
We took a picture of Brooke with the new toys from my Aunt Shirley. She bought them for Brooke when we came to visit her in Michigan. Of course the laptop is her favorite. My little technology baby!
